The fifth Asian THORPEX Regional Committee (ARC) Meeting was held at the Tsukuba International Congress Center in Tsukuba, Japan, from 25 to 26 July 2007.
ARC members from China, India, Korea, Russia and Japan as well as observers discussed an implementation plan for T-PARC (THORPEX* Pacific Asian Regional Campaign) in 2008, an important international research activity that would advance understanding of meteorology in the Pacific region and lead to better weather forecasts. |

THORPEX is a component programme of the WMO World Weather Research Programme (WWRP). |
